It is almost Spring Break and my students have been working really hard. I am so proud of them! Students are currently learning about relationships in geometry and will have a Unit 9 test on Thursday, March 8.
BIG NEWS! Mr. Q-U-E, a fellow math teacher/rapper from California will be performing at NJH on March 26th. I play his videos with math songs/raps in my class weekly. The students and I are so excited and look forward to the concert! We are thankful to the Education Foundation for financially backing this concert.
My conference period is 3rd period, 9:52 - 10:44. You may contact me during the day at firstname.lastname@example.org or call the office, 936-825-4225. I will get back with you after school, usually by 5:00.
Tutoring is available before school - Tuesday through Friday; after school - Monday, Thursday and Friday; and any day during lunch. Study Island homework may be completed during these times. Please encourage your child to stop by for extra help on any of the math concepts we have covered.
Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

There are several videos posted that are helpful in reinforcing exponents, prime numbers, and order of operations. I will be posting more videos as we progress through the unit.
Benchmark Fraction Quiz
There will be a benchmark fraction quiz on Friday, 12/1. Study Island homework is also due on Friday.
