New State Assessment System Debuts This Semester
The state's new student testing program goes live this semester. The new program is called the State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness or STAAR. It replaces the Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (TAKS). STAAR will be given to students in grades 3-8 and to students taking high school level courses in the four core subject areas of English language arts, mathematics, science and social studies. 2012 Track Schedule
Help Navasota Junior High receive rewards from My Coke Rewards for Schools program.
Our school has joined the My Coke Rewards for Schools program. That means by drinking Coca-Cola products, we can all earn My Coke Rewards and donate them to support our school.
NISD Report Card Delay
Parents & Guardians: Report Cards were not sent home Jan. 19 with students due to current Gradebook server issues. We are in contact with our Gradebook software company and are working towards a solution. Essay Contest
NJH students have the opportunity to participate in an essay contest. Four winners will be announced and have the chance to meet Former First Lady Barbara Bush.
