Mrs. Trant's Seventh Grade Science

Hello! My name is Lauren Trant and I am excited to be your seventh grade science teacher. I’m looking forward to getting to know all of you. We have lots of fun activities planned for science this year! I can’t wait to watch all of you learn and grow as the year progresses.

A LITTLE ABOUT ME

This is my seventh year in the classroom but my first year teaching public school. I spent six years teaching in a private school in Brenham and loved it, however, I decided it was best for my family for us to be closer to home (Navasota!). I absolutely love science! It is my favorite subject to learn and to teach. I am an Aggie graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree. I live with my three children right down the road from here. In our free time we enjoy being outside fishing, riding four-wheelers and doing cow work. My son loves to show cattle so during some weekends you may find us at a local show with his heifers. We enjoy traveling when we can squeeze it in. I hope all of you had a fun, relaxing summer and are as excited as I am to be starting a new school year!
