Welcome to Principals of Agriculture /Technology

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Welcome to Principals of Ag/Technology.  I am looking forward to an AWESOME and EXCITING school year with your student.

A little about myself:

I am married to my wonderful husband Kelvin and we have five outstanding children who we adore. My hobbies include fishing, shopping, traveling and spending time with all my critters. I received my B.A from University of Houston in Criminal Justice with a Minor in Curriculum & Instruction and I received my M.Ed from Texas A&M Kingsville in Counseling with a Minor in Special Education. I am looking forward to the 2022-2023 school year filled with lots of fun and learning.

Grades:

Students will be able to check their grades on skyward using a laptop or cell phone. Missing grades stay that way until they get report cards and at that time will be recorded as a zero.

If a student chooses to turn in missing work keep in mind that the grade will not be higher than a 70 when it is way past the due date.

Students have enough time in my class to make up assignments and re-do them if they aren't pleased with their grade.

Absences:

If a student is absent, it is their responsibility to take accountability to come in and get their assignment and completing it.   They will have two days to complete the work before it is recorded as a missing assignment.

Rules and Expectations:

Come to class prepared and ready to work everyday.

* Students are expected to follow school policy and classroom rules at all times.

* 15/15:  Students are not allowed to leave the class the first 15 minutes of class or the last 15 minutes.  All students must have their ID when they ask to leave class or they will not be allowed to go.

* Cell Phones:  There is a "ZERO" cell phone tolerance in the classroom. Students are to turn their phones into the phone box before the bell rings. The phones will be returned to the student the last 5 minutes of class.  If I see it out it will be taken away with no warnings. There will be a charge of $15 to get it back and will need to be picked up by a parent.

Students have designated areas and times to use their phones and the classroom is not one of them.  Please help me by giving them a little friendly reminder.

If at anytime you have concerns about your child's grades or assignments, please free to contact me.

Let's have a GREAT year!

Thank You,

Cissy Neal
